Nice mate. Iv been using a Rock laptop to game for the last 3 years, so the new build blew me away as I am sure yours will. What screen have you gone for?

Re: XFX Pro 850W vs Antec 850W vs Corsair TX850m

Keeping my old screen for now (1280*1024) but will upgrade to a 1080p one around Christmas (I'll have a bit more cash and hopefully there will be some good deals).

Decided to go with the HX-850 and will order soon. Doesn't look like I'll order it from Scan unless they get stock next week (ETA is 1/11/11), however it depends when they stock the Gen3 ASUS boards, if that is after that date then I'll probably get them as a bundle. It is annoying having more than half a computer in bits just lying around because I'm waiting for parts. Even worse when BF3 is waiting to be downloaded...

Sound like a bit of a nightmare. Good choice on the psu.
I went for a 23" Dell ips screen. It is amazingly good and I would highly recommend one.

Iv got the older one, which is basically the same screen. IPS is so good.

Well good luck with the rest of your build mate

Re: XFX Pro 850W vs Antec 850W vs Corsair TX850m

Yeah, I'll probably make a thread for monitor suggestions nearer the time. Found some good deals for the HX-850 on Amazon/Dabs (£120 with free shipping) so I'll probably get it there is Scan doesn't have stock. I have seen the Gen3 boards on Newegg and some obscure site here in the UK that I've never heard of and don't really want to order from, so I'm just waiting. Annoying but I still have my old desktop (which I build for BF2) and laptop so can still game a little (although it is just mainly BF42 - Battlegroup42 mod).
