The long and short of this matter is that poverty breeds ignorance and crime, and when you have families that have been in this way for generations what you have is an endless cycle of people being born into rough families with no prospects and they are so used to it that they just don't care any more. The parents have no standards themselves by which to set for their children, and the children see this and this makes them care even less. Ad infinitum.

People are having kids who should not be having kids, and unless you can find a way to stop this or miraculously solve unemployment etc then you have it for a looong while yet, and as the worlds popuklation booms this will be just the beginning.

The only solution would be a new FAR harsher poliving regime, or government-dictated birth control a-la-China.

    Just my opinion as always.

Last night my workmate was leaving the gym, he's the same age as me (early 40's) Same background (military) and had to pass between two chavs to go on his way. Now this heightened his senses to personal danger, as it would anyone I guess.

As he passed one of them for no apparent reason spat at Simon. Highly offended he span round and chav number 2 threatened him with a broken bottle. Obviously these guys are more used to dealing with old ladies and kids as Simon promptly dropped the spitter in his tracks and the brave boy with the bottle ran off.

Why am I relating this story? Well I guess it goes to highlight the kind of people that hang about on our streets today and also to highlight what a spineless bunch of wasters they are.

Stories like that always warm my cockles, nice to see someone stand up for themselves and give one a black eye. Chavs are all cowards at heart, they just rely on intimidation to see them through and if you give them what for they'll get the jitters.

How very amusing. I hope that's a joke, right? If not I hope you can take a step back for a moment and see that is rather a generalisation in the least. It's like saying prosperity breeds inbreeding in-breds, or somthing.

Of course its a fricken generalisation, lmao that's obvious.

But you show me an average Chav's home and I guarantee 8/10 it is a family on the borderline of poverty (for the UK anyway), living on benefits etc. This is usually the reason they turn to petty crime and also why their parents don't give a ****. I originally come from a rough area in Leeds and i've seen a lot of rough areas around the country in my time.

I'm NOT saying ALL people on the breadline are criminals, don't take what I say and make it into something it's not, keep it in context, namely the type of family a chav comes from.

This is happening more and more. Someone at work was telling me that, as he was walking home, 2 neds (chavs) walked up behind him and smacked him with a length of wood on the side of his jaw.

He doesnt know them, they didnt know him... He was "just there"

    I mean WTF !!!

It was unfortunate, however, that said person (who looks about 12 BTW) does kick boxing and promptly turned round and laid into them.
