I only moisturise after shaving - but I've also got a nice moisturiser/suncream that I use in summer. it's a kiwi brand, so you'd never get it over here I don't think - but it's manuka, aloe and suncream, so it's anti-bacterial, moisturising and an effective sun lotion. very expensive, about 45 dollars (about 15 quid) but it's lasted me about 6 months on the current tube. using a ti-tree deodorant, as it's better for your skin. I don't have a whole routine going on, nor do I use aftershave.

Skincareproducts I use... soap and water
It takes me ~20mins to shave everyday and I havent got time to mess around with creams etc..
Also I just shave with cold water. dunno why people use shaving foam either - Ive tryed it. It makes shaving quicker, by a few mins, but takes off less and also I tend to cut my self when using it, whereas I never cut myself with water...
On days where i dont need to go outside I dont bother shaving either, becuase im a lazy git, and its easyer to shave once its grown a bit.

Think coz it softens the whiskers making it easier to sheer (some exfoliate as well) - though the skin softens too which is why it might be easier to cut yourself.

I personally dont bother shaving. I shave when I start a new job, or attend a formal . . . Ive shaved about 5 times this year i think.

Well, I try to do a whole number of things:

    1) Shower at least once daily.
    2) Exfoliate when I can.
    3) Brush teeth and Listerine my mouth out.
    4) Go to the gym semi regularly.
    5) Use a sunbed type device occasionally. (cba to wait for sun to uv me, and please no lectures on skin cancer please)
    6) Have my hair styled not just cut.
    7) Shave daily.

I tell ya, combine this with a healthy diet and a good sleep cycle (he says typing this at 2:35am, having not being to the gym in 9 days, nor exfoliating, 4 weeks since last haircut or showered since yesterday) and its not gay in fact its a bloody good idea because:

    1) You look in top condition.
    2) Girls prefer a bloke who's got a bit of tone and skin colour.

So any kind of grooming isn't being a poof - its proven that women prefer a bloke with a bit of polish. If its not impressing women you're after then why not just look the bomb for the sake of it? It doesn't matter what you use as long as you look and feel good. Ignore any criticism.

It's subjective I guess - but essentially I'm quoting from my own experience.

That's tru, even when I shave it still looks loke I've got stubble...apart from my head which I also shave (started thinning in mid 20's). I go to the gym 3-4 times a week & hav done for the past 20 or-so years. More habit than anything these days.

I just like to feel good. I mean, I'm no looker, (as a quick glance at the Hexus gallery will confirm), so feeling good is the next best thing imo.

Plus, like I said, I owe it to the wife & kids to stay in shape.

    Thumbs up Course it is!

Do you want the list? I got loads, partly cause I've got eczema. For those sufferers, go to GNC and get something called Allergenics Intensive Care+ (The red tube not the blue one) Good stuff, don't half calm the irritation down...
