If it erupts, it would be an a very serious event, and we are expecting an eruption around now - the only thing is, 'around now' means now, give or take a few hundred years!

* Super bugs (MSRA, bird flu, plenty more out there and on the way)
* Nuclear armagedon (North Korea/Syria getting twitchy)
* Asteroid strikes (statistally overdue)
* Global warning (happening right now)
* Over population (fuel/resource/oil/food crisis on the horizon)
* More nuclear fun (when its the only way left to generate enough power for everybody)

Sorry for the negativity, but if we are to believe all this then forget the bloody baked beans and rice pudding, start building the mothership I say...
