    When you think about it, the US should thank their lucky stars (and stripes) that the UK and France weren't allies of Germany and indirectly with Japan.

    Just a thought and no point in discussing as there are too many "ifs". But one thing for sure is:- the world today would be different.

    the a-bombs were designed for use in Germany initially.

    I say we close the borders and turn our attention inwards, lets look at how we conduct ourselves as a country before we carry on bullying other countries because we think were some sort of world police..

    what about British territories that are overseas e.g. Gibralter and the Falklands?

    Or how do we protect our own imports and exports etc

    Closing our eyes and putting our fingers in our ears is very nice but its not very practical
