Thanks for this thread, it's perfect timing for me, i'm looking into a very similar build but going to hopefully get scan to build it , because I don't trust myself to get it working and I'd rather it was all sorted without any worry.

Damn Scan's pricing. That Scorpio drive is lightning fast, hence my interest, and obviously it will keep weight down and leave more space for cable tidying. Not certain though, as it would definitely save a few quid with the 3.5" option.

Would that be the case if the label on the box states 10 year warranty?

I know many manufacturers used to state all sorts on the box, and then in the T&Cs it would say "applies to USA only", I'm guessing it's the same situation with this card.

No EVGA does still do 10year warranties just not on all their cards, the expensive ones still do, however their cheap cards don't, between 1 and 3 years depending on card

Good to hear, so I'm happy with the GTX570 HD I got off danroyle, shame I sold my GTX580 that also had the same 10 year label on it.
