Yes, let me specify the system.

3xSSDs (they don't consume anything anyway).
4 HDDs, each 2TB 7200rpm drives.
Overclocking will be done around 4.4/4.5Ghz
and finally 2x 7970s will be installed (in the future, in 6months time). I do not wish to change the PSU for that.
and 1 optical drive.

So, you're saying with all of these installed and configured, 850w is more than enough?

Yep 850w should be enough. Another review shows full system draw of just under 600w with an overclocked Intel CPU and 2x7970, you may be able to get away with a 750w PSU but I would go for an 850w unit.
