Going to put an order in for these parts soon-ish, what do you guys think of it? And do you recommend any adjustments? My budget is no more than £700

That's a nice solid build....I would stretch to an SSD if possible and also not order it from Scan....their support seems to have gone to the dogs recently.

Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
looks pretty good to me. i'm no expert but couldn't the case do with a little more 'badass-ery' ?
All looks good

Based on the use is Gaming you could spend a little extra on the GPU, which will give you higher frame rates in intensive games such as BF3, an SSD would take you over budget, it would boost your boot up times and loading times but when the Game is launched wouldn't provide any benefit at all so keeping your budget in mind I would spend elsewhere and choose the SSD as an upgrade path in the future.
We also provide Overclocked bundles so we can put together the core components and OC the System to 4.5GHz, this would give you a great performance increase for a relatively small extra outlay.
However you would have the change the cooler to the Dark Rock 2, H70 or H80i, Oh and also Low Profile Memory but this is slightly cheaper.

Cheers guys, yeah I wanted to stick to the GTX 660 because i've found that above prices of about £180 you tend to spend more money per performance unit. The Ti version is about £60 more expensive but the change in framerate for most games is quite small. I'd rather save that money for later and upgrade at a later date. I'd love a SSD but yeah it would take me over my budget and I think it's still a semi-expensive luxury.
Yeah that 660 really hits a sweet spot in terms of price/performance.
I would probably get this Gigabyte motherboard instead:

The OP will also get free postage from Scan too,as they have over 20 posts on Hexus.
Apart from the case and cooler I was looking at the exact same stuff 2 months ago.
Guy in my work just got an EVGA 670 FTW so I've had to change it all - keeping up with the Joneses and all that!
Check my thread in your forums......to get a response from you these days takes days or weeks. You skirt around issues and generally it seems to me like your trying every trick in the book to effectively steal from your customers in a way that's hard for them to do anything about.
Your lack of communication is also shocking.
It never used to be like this....but I guess the recession is taking it's toll on you...or you just don't give a damn any more. I can only speculate why your support has become so bad....perhaps you can tell us seeing as you guys like responding to these posts but ignore my actual RMA post in your care forum.
