As you are getting an external graphics card, I would swap the A6 dual core for the Athlon 750K FM2 quad core for £10 more.

Re: Light gaming with a 32" HD tv (32vb700b)

The AMD A10 IGP is as fast as a HD6670 GDDR3 with 1600MHZ DDR3. The OCZ PSU you listed is not that greated either.

It might be useful if you look at the CPU,motherboard and graphics card suggestions I made in this thread:

Re: Light gaming with a 32" HD tv (32vb700b)

this one would be good http://www.scan.co.uk/products/400w-...active-pfc-oem no frills seasonic OEM unit
    or the 450w xfx http://www.ebuyer.com/413804-xfx-pro...n-p1-450s-x2b9

I'd also drop in one of the silverstone 140mm magnetic filters into your scan basket for the side panel vent http://www.scan.co.uk/products/140mm...dust-filtering
Must admit to being a bit iffy on the AVP cases, I've no experience with them so no comments on the quality of the case or the fans but for a cheap case they do tick the boxes and look fairly unique

Re: Light gaming with a 32" HD tv (32vb700b)

Give me a minute or so I might be able to have a look around!!

I would look at this RAM and motherboard:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Patriot-Vipe...words=8gb+1866

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-GA-...ywords=a85+amd

It also might be worth looking at this CPU and motherboard:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-HDZ965FB...rds=phenom+965

    http://www.ebuyer.com/436858-biostar...herboard-ta970

OTH,the Athlon II X4 760K should consume less power at load and at idle.

Re: Light gaming with a 32" HD tv (32vb700b)

Had a few issues in the past with a Biostar Mobo ( and there was a lack of bios updates )

but I will go with the Gigabyte and patriot and stick with the 760k as the PC's main use will be surfing / facbook / homework with light gaming.

Thank you all for your input

If you want to shave some money off 4gb of ram should be fine http://www.ebuyer.com/311744-crucial...2g3d1608dt1tx0
You'd still have the option to add more ram sticks later if you need more as the Gigabyte GA-F2A85X-D3H has 4 ram slots

Re: Light gaming with a 32" HD tv (32vb700b)

Just get a normal 1080p monitor around 20-25".The reason im saying this is that you will have as many pixels in your 20" monitor as a 32" TV which if you know about PPI it will look quite horrible close up or even at a good distance. Also your find monitors are often better at reproducing accurate colours in my experience as when ever I have plugged in my TV (Samsung UE40EH6030) it ALWAYS looks washed out to much contrast etc. Any way just my thoughts on your 32" TV idea.
