Definitely a shame you dont have the cash right now, as in most places you cant get a 2700X for less than ~£290 that I can find. Getting the motherboard and CPU for £335... I'm pretty chuffed.
Just hope there isnt some kind of flash sale in the next week or so
This seems be a pretty decent RAM deal. Samsung B die, 3466 and CAS 16 aint too bad. Not in the supported list for the motherboard though... do I still have to worry about that?

Edit - scratch that, not sure it is Samsung and the latency is misleading, its 16-18-18-38
Thaiphoon Burner will tell what RAM you have
I ordered this stuff:

Not perfect, but much cheaper than the alternatives
Also ended up just going with a 500GB WD Black
I've not read the thread, I'm in a lazy mood. Just read the OP.
My one piece of advice would be to buy a 1x 2TB NVMe SSD instead of 2x 1TB. Those slots are at a premium and with the current volatility of NAND memory pricing, you may find a much cheaper 2TB drive which you can run side by side. The penalty for going 1x 2TB is very small, only adding like 5-10% premium but I believe it'll be worth it in the long run.
After doing some "sound testing" tonight, I think I might re-evaluate my position on the PSU.
It seems to cycle a little too frequently between fan on and off, and the fan isn't the most pleasant sound to my ears.
Not looking for a bargain here, want to get something I'll be happy with this time at around 700w that will last.
I've also decided to replace all my case fans with Silent Wings 3 (at quite an expense) just so that the sound is consistent. I also quite like the sound Be Quiet fans make, even compared to the Noctua ones I currently have in there.
