    Re: Noisey graphics card

Buy a can of air, give it a good clean out, should be able to pick aerosol up for a few quid.
If that doesn't work, but dont do this before a good clean, a wee dab of wd40 might help.

    Re: Noisey graphics card

Use a cotton bud to apply a bit of wd40 on the spindle if its visible. If you still have warranty, I would probably go that route because if you keep having to tap it to stop making the noise, chances are you will cause more damage doing that.

    Re: Noisey graphics card

Hi again , you wont believe this (or maybe you will) but the remaining original graphics card has started making quite a loud noise on cold boot lasts for a few minutes, its coming from one of the fans its not dirty and if you shut down and re boot right away it doesn't do it.
So basically more of the same except noise is a bit rougher.

    Re: Noisey graphics card

I'm not a fan of the MSI frozer cards. I had 2 MSI frozer 460's start to make weird noises like they were dieing after 10 months or so, and one of the replacement MSi frozer 460's had a dead fan on arrival. Scan kindly swapped them for an alternative manufacturer after the replacement cards were sent back as I didn't trust that frozer cooler any more.
