Blinding me with science more like lol.......thanks for the comprehensive answer, just when I think I am starting to get the tech side of things it becomes rocket science again........my spec has one 250 gb system drive, one 750 gb for audio and another 750 gb for samples, at least thats what the mag review one had so I have just gone with that.

I am starting to think that this is the most helpful forum I had ever been on, no one patronises a noob, they just answer the questions, cheers everyone

Ah, I had missed that there were two 750Gb drives. So you would have the opportunity to Raid them if you wished but, as you're using them for different stuff it sounds like you haven't. I'd say that makes sense.
