Best contact for custom build price?

    Hi,

Looking to change my computer and have a specific spec. but unfortunatly not enough time to self built this time round.

Been pointed here for a good custom build service and price and was wondering who would be the best 1st point of contact to forward the spec. to for a price?

    Thanks in advance

    Good Morning,

Welcome to the Scan 3XS Forum

Regarding a price and spec I'd suggest you contact Paul Moss.
His email details are paul@scan.co.uk or call him on 0871 472 4747

I'm sure we can build something to your requirements

    Pete

Re: Best contact for custom build price?

Thanks to Paul for the advice received... pity my original plan looks to be a non starter.

So it looks like i may be going down the road of the Triad "Tian Di Hui" system but I have a quick question for anyone out there.

If i decided on a HD 5970 card and sometime in the future wanted to add another would a 850W Corsair PSU be OK or would I need a 1000W.

    Cheers

An 850W should be sufficient according to this article http://www.hardwareheaven.com/review...=890&pageid=22

If you're going to overclock them then you would probably need the 1000W.

Re: Best contact for custom build price?

Crossfired 5970's have a typical power draw of 375~400W, leaving 450W for the rest of the system, so the Corsair 850W will be more than enough.

    Cheers
