The new chips coming out for intel are all iX based with a new i7 coming out. Intel X6, i assume you mean AMD Phenom X6. When you compare the new offerings both Intel and AMD are offering 6 core CPU's however Intels will feature 12threads so 12 virtual cores in addition to it being faster clock for clock than AMD's part.

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
The Intel 6 core processors are going to be much more expensive than the current current lower end Core i7 processors. The AMD 6 core processors are likely to be priced around the same level as the quad core Intel Core i7 processors too.
Wait until both processors come out and then check out the reviews and platform pricing first.
