Hello Pete,

We spoke today regarding an upgrade to the edge I7 bundle. I wanted to upgrade the mobo to the LN32365 Gigabyte, GA-X58A-UD5.

I also would like to change the cooler to LN25719 Ultra-120-1366RT eXtreme. This cooler has a fan that is 5 DB quieter the one that comes with the bundle. Thermalright seems to have more of proven track record? Unless you feel this is a wrong move?

Obviously when I am running with a stock bios profile I would like the PC to be very quiet and cool as practical.
I would only use the O/C mode when rendering large cad files or encoding videos.


Some Questions if I may.

Can you set up a stock and o/c profile on this mobo that I can select at boot up?

Will the mobo package come with all the bits as if bought the mobo as a separate unit?

Will I need a 6GB SATA cable for the 6GB WD drive I have selected or will the stock 3GB ones suffice?

Can you supply me with all packing/boxes of the parts used in the Edge bundle? (for resale value if I decide to upgrade)

Can you supply the part number for a mount kit for the ssd if it needs one?

So that's all the questions I can think of for now. No doubt I will have a few more based on your reply

If you could take a look at what I have selected below to complete the bundle and let me know what your thoughts are, compatibility, upgrades downgrades e.t.c I would be very grateful.
Although £1100.00 is not a great deal for a mid level system, I would want to ensure I had the best advice and made the correct choices.
