Hi guys.
I'm looking at a custom built 3xs system but have some questions regarding some options.

1) Overclocking: Is it really worth having done? - i understand that it may reduce the lifespan of the cpu, not sure if that's the case these days though.
Also i've read about issues with Windows 7 and overclocked pc's. Is that a concern ?

2) SSD: There appears a lot of interest in these now, for the speed and reliability of them, but they're not as big as a conventional Hard drive and are expensive. Would it be better to have one just as a system/windows drive and all games etc put onto a separate storage drive?

3) Does Scan offer any Raid options on the 3xs setups - if so, what kind of costs are involved?

if you go with a system with a i7 in them or a i5 there built to have a overclock ...there are no problems with windows and overclocks works brill.
ssd are much faster over normal hard drives i have 2 ssd 120 in raid 0 ..make a big diffrence in access times ...
.a lot of the time the problem is with systems now days and main reason for overclocking is that grafix cards are so fast that most intel or amd cpu,s are not as quick as the gpu on grafix cards and this will slow your system down .hence the overclock on the cpu ...this is not scan,s computers but everyones ..
