    OC Failed ...

Hi just recently got my system from you guys, system runs fine, really well built ......... happy with it. But i keep getting OC failed on startup :S Also the system seems to try to power up 2 or 3 times, once its running its great. But i just keep getting OC failed, then tells me to go in setup. Which i do and have to load a profile, seems to happen alot.

Now im not sure if i even have the OC profile running or not because in control panel it says im at 3.30ghz not the 4.7ghz im supposed to have. I sent an email about this a week ago and was told to download CPU-Z and prime95, then i would see my OC. But i dont see anything higher than the default 3.30ghz.

Im not sure if im doing something wrong lol, so some info would be nice please.

    Re: OC Failed ...

There should be 2 profiles on there, standard and the OC one, try both and then take a look at your system speed.

    Re: OC Failed ...

Yeah thats not good, deffo Scan are the best people for this, I get something similar(home built system) when my PC wont come out of sleep. It says overclock failed and I have to reload my profile again, and I have had a few times where pushing the power buttons just lights up the system but it doesnt start and fans are running at a stupidly low rpm.

    Hi Mike

Make sure you are not using any Power Saving features and that in the Bios Overclocked Profile in the Advanced CPU options you have C3 and C6 disabled
