Hi,

I'm very close to taking the plunge and purchasing a 3XS SA68 PowerDAW or 3XS SA-i7 PowerDAW+. My budget is around £1,200, but was wondering which may be the better option of the two based on my other equipment and also if I am missing anything important in the set-up. The SA68 I would keep as the standard configuration, the SA-i7, I would probably up the RAM to 12 GB but leave everything else. Any advice gratefully received, I'm sure I can't go wrong with either system.

Relevant(?) Accompanying equipment:

Roland Quad Capture USB 2.0 MIDI interface/Soundcard
Edirol PCR500 Midi keyboard
Arturia Analog Factory softsynth/controller
Novation X Station synth
Various synth modules
2 x Hanns G HI221DP monitors
Software - TBC, probably Cakewalk Music Creator Pro 5, hopefully eventually step up to Sonar.

Also, please can you let me know:

1) How many USB and Firewire ports are included on both systems as standard?
2) Will both systems output to 2 monitors via DVI as standard?

Many thanks and sorry for the all the questions

Tony
