How did you end up with DPD delivery?
Long story.. They cocked up my order and had it down as collection so I moaned and they changed it to DPD. Looking at 3xs now you can select for delivery without set up which I suspect may be DPD.
The delivery without setup is still net-thingy. It's what I've always gone for. I understand why they use these people, but the fact they're using DPD for yours suggests they know it causes delays.
Still on Burn-in apparently.... a quick calculation says that's 42 hours... so either
a) Someone has forgotten to update the status.
b) Burnin failed, and we're on another try.
c) Its say somewhere waiting for QA to start, but QA are busy at the moment.
I hope it's a). I don't really want to have to enquire and nudge to find out, but will if it goes on much longer.
Mine jumped 3 stages in under a min so I'm guessing its just not getting updated...
Got an email today saying that it will be getting dispatched late today and delivery tomorrow :-)

Found out today that someone at Scan made an error and it wasn't dispatched last night at all...
However it's now been sent (tracking by dpd) and guaranteed for Monday :-)
Heh, gz! I'm on my fourth day of mem-testing. I'm guessing it'll still be the same all weekend..
It was one month to the day when I ordered my PC. I still don't have the PC yet.
Step 7, QC for me tonight.
Stage 6, Burn-in. Estimated 2 day despatch, but after seeing the previous estimates I'm not holding my breath ;P
I can but dream to get it before Xmas tho!
If I ignore the weekend and look at working days/hours only, mine was in Burn In for 2.5 days. The test results say it was running Prime95 for 42 hours.... which seems to tally.
QC was started at 1pm today or thereabouts, and hasn't been finished today. Knowing how long the delivery takes I reckon if I'm lucky it'll be before Christmas but only by the skin of my teeth.... and that's with luck on my side for a change.
Well I still haven't got my system yet.. DPD should of delivered on the 17th, didn't get to my city until 3AM on the 18th and now they are saying there is over a thousand parcels in my depot and won't be delivered until the 19th! 2 days late is very shoddy for a company that prides itself on an hour delivery window.
Also worries me my system sitting in their warehouse getting knocked around..
All I can say is good luck to the pair of you, I'm guessing it's a new year toy to look forward too for me. I'm gonna fire Philip a quick mail to see if he can shed any light on the chances of it being a good or poor Christmas
