What security software do you use?

I used to use Norton until it got to the point where it was throwing around so many false positives it would probably even try to delete system32, at that point I got fed up and switched. It's idea of automatically quarantining lesser known files, while helpful to some, was downright disruptive also.

I've been using Avast for almost 10 years. I've tried Kaspersky before, but my computer was super slow at the time, and Kaspersky was heavy on the system back then.

Iv always used Windows Defender have done since the Window 7 days. Has been great all this time. I also like to make sure everything is up to date but with some Windows updates things can get worse.

But overall Windows Defender has been perfect for me.

Add me to the list of people that uses Windows Defender. A long while ago I used to use NOD32, but eventually got lazy (and cheap) and just started using Defender. So far I haven't been punished for it, but I don't doubt that other dedicated security sites remain better. I'd just need to do some reading up.

Malwarebytes is my choice for security, has never let me down..
