PSU Out of Stock

Hi guys,

I placed an order a few days ago for CPU, Motherboard, Ram and PSU. However, I just received an email saying the PSU is out of stock.

Would you be able to do any of the following:

1) Just send the CPU, Motherboard and RAM on the Wednesday 30th and the PSU when it comes back into stock?

2) Replace the PSU which is out of stock with one that is in stock with one that is the same price or less but equally decent and reliable?

We cannot part-ship the order, but if you can log a query on the site with a suitable alternative to the power supply, then we can certainly ammend the order for you.

At the moment there is no update on the system.

Today is the 1st day back for purchasing and as such they have a mountain of items that need to be ordered. As soon as they have done this, the new expected date should be shown on the website.

hmmm... doesn't look good especially with all the weather problems.

What would you suggest as an alternative - one that is in stock and that also costs no more than the current corsair 400w?

I would suggest

As a suitable replacement either that or spend a little extra on the 450w Corsair

There has just been an update to this and the 400W corsair power supplys are now expected to be delivered to SCAN on the 12th January 2010.

Obviously this is subject to change if the adverse weather continues over the next few days which is highly likely as initial reports this morning stated that temperatures could drop as low as -10 tonight and more snow if forecast over the next 3-4 days.

As yet it has not arrived as soon as the stock status changes on the site we will have it here.
