Okay, this is a bit of a tricky one.
My motherboard, a Zotac 9300 ITX-D-E, has started having video problems. i.e. it won't output video. If I reset the CMOS it works for about 3 to 4 minutes, but then cuts out again. The video will not output on all 3 (HDMI, DVI, VGA) outputs. As far as I can tell, there is no problem with the motherboard physically, i.e. the heatsink is flush with the graphics chip and northbridge.
However, there is a slight issue for me returning it under warranty:
I have just moved to Sydney, Australia.
I am unsure as to how to proceed with this particular issue. If I return it to Scan under warranty I will be without a workable machine for 2-3 weeks on top of the time it takes Zotac to repair the board, not to mention shipping the motherboard will cost a considerable amount (some of the tracked services cost more to ship it than a it would cost me to get a replacement, when we take into account Customs Duty).
Can I deal with Zotac directly? Can I return the product for a refund so that I can quickly procure a replacement?
