    New H50 damaged radiator

    Hi,

I have just taken delivery of my components for my 1st build and the H50 radiator has damaged fins over it. The paint has obviously been scraped and some of the fins are deformed.
I just fitted the retention plate on and put the motherboard in then took the radiator out of the sleeve when I noticed the problem. Pretty gutted as I was looking forward to getting this all built this weekend.

Obviously I am expecting I will have to return it but as I have fitted the backplate to the motherboard will I have to take this off? This would be a huge pain as it has those sticky pads on it.

Please get back to me asap, thanks.

    Re: New H50 damaged radiator

    Hi,

I have arranged a return for this - RMA 229393. But I have a question (tried calling a couple of times this afternoon but no answer so I assume you are busy today).
As this unit is damaged, not faulty, will the courier bring a replacement when they pick this up? There was no damage to the box at all so I'm thinking this unit may have been a return which was sent out in error.
I am eager to get this built and don't want to have to wait another week just to get the cooler in. Also the ScanSure policy lasts 28 days and this will waste time.

A replacement unit will not be sent out until the item has been recieved by the RMA team, checked over and then the internal paper trail done for the replacement.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Lee,

Thanks for your quick reply. Can you give me any idea how long this process usually takes?

Also can you please make sure DPD call or text me as the last 2 times they have come out they did not do this.

    Thanks
