I ordered a amd 1055t 95w as part of a today only bundle with an asus m4a89gtd pro on 9/9/10. When i assembled my computer one of the modules ocz ddr3 ram was faulty i tested each module individiually in each slot , on its own the faulty module would make the memok led grow solid red and memok would fail to fix it. I only used the working module to install windows 7 and i stress tested the cpu and ram with prime95 for a number of hours and had no errors. I then sent the set of ram including the working one (ocz's orders) for rma. This is where my problems start when i received my new ram both modules will not work, i tried individually, reset cmos, pressed memok button still it wont work. I got beeps saying no memory was detected , i didink itwas the motherboard so sent it back for rma, got new set still the same , sent it for rrma about 3-4 times and lost 3 months of time ocz last set of ram was tested before sending and it still would not work ocz said it was my motherboard, so i tried loosening the cooler bracket slightly as i read on asus forum that tight brackets may cause problems, i removed motherboard out of case placed on anti staticmat it came with , i took apart everything and put it back together again and still it wont work , ordered new ram 1gb kingston still wont work so it must be mobo. I would like to return it for rma picked up if possible
Forgot to mention i made sure i discharged static and also made sure ram was seated properly
