    RMA query

I purchased a 23" DGM monitor December just over 12 months ago. I kept getting a blank screen in the beginning of December. I thought it was the graphics card at fault and didn't check for a few weeks with me being busy with Christmas etc and by then the warranty was just out. I got in touch with Scan who gave me a support email address for DGM that wasn't even valid and an 0800 number and was basically told I'm on my own.
I found the correct support email for DGM and contacted them but haven't heard anything back in over a month and if I start ringing 0871 numbers it'll end up costing me more than the monitor cost. It was for my children's PC and was hardly even used, it should've lasted a lot longer than that.
Can Scan assist me in resolving this problem?

    Thank You

    Re: RMA query

0800 numbers are freephone numbers and shouldn't cost anything from a land line. Most mobile operators will charge for 0800 however.

Have you tried changing the VGA/DVI/HDMI cable? Have you tried reducing the resolution and refresh rate or even resetting the monitor?

    Re: RMA query

Sorry its an 0871 number. I build pc's as a hobby so have some technical expertise. I tried different hdmi leads and resolutions etc it doesn't even pick up the boot screen. The only way it works is if you plug the tower into another monitor, boot it up and then switch the lead to the faulty monitor but as soon as you restart the tower the monitor doesn't pick it up and just stays blank saying no signal. I also tested the monitor on my gaming rig, no joy

Acording to DGM's website their monitors have a 3year collect and return warranty.

The official support number is: 0871 250 8000

But you can try any of these numbers and simply ask to be put through to the warranty department/service hotline...
    020 8839 2280, 020 8839 2296 or 020 8839 2285 (got them off SayNOto0870.com)
