I bought an EVGA graphics card from Scan at the beginning on January and it arrived of the 5th January.
I soon noticed that it was physically damaged inside the box and called Scan to report and get an RMA.
The card was collected the following day, the 6th January, and it got logged as received in Scan RMA system on the 10th. The physical fault was observed by Scan and the card was sent to EVGA for the 11th January. I was told that it would take up to 28 days for EVGA to inspect the card. 30 days have now passed and I've heard nothing. I have emailed Scan 2 days ago, but I have not received a reply. I phoned Scan yesterday and the person I spoke with was unable to tell me anything, but said it would be chased up and said that I should expect an email. Another full working day later, nothing.
Is this normal, or am I just unlucky? What is the average waiting time on the replacement of a physically damaged graphics card?
