    Item: MSI Z68A-GD65 Gen.3 MoBo


    I have sent the defective item by guareenteed next day delivery so should be with on 8/6/12. I understand this will be delivered to MSI for testing.

    I want to know what the average turnover time will be from you guys getting it, to me getting it back either new or repaired.

    I see SCAN have received the RMA at 1143 on 8/6/12 but no update on the Progress on Scan's website????

    Any update from SCAN? I see it's still not updated on the SCAN wesbite. Or do I wait till next week for an update?

    if it's being forwarded to MSI for testing then it will be received my scan (which you already know)

    then once it's been processed by scan/checked over (most probably early next week now) it will then be forwarded onto MSI, (even if scan process and forward onto MSI this weekend , they won't receive it until monday)

    then it's roughly 7-14 working days at MSI once processed depending on their load/availability on replacement if needed, then sent back to scan

    same process: received by scan then processed then sent back to you

    edit: so you could say upto a week at scan(2-3 days each way plus shipping etc..) plus 7-14 days at msi = 14-21 working days ish

    Hi I received the replacement today and after updating bios and loading my old overclocked profiles with tweaks, it's fully working. Thanks SCAN.

    I was also wondering that the replacement is not new, the box and MB have both been opened before. Are these repaired MB from MSI?

    From my understanding the board was new from stock, however our warranty team inspected the replacement and placed your original accessories in the box before it was dispatched.

    Thanks for clarifying this for me. I am pleased with the new working motherboard, strange the old MB failed, I heard a pop but there are no busted capacitiors I or your colleagues saw.
