Any sign of order?

Hi,
I very much appreciate the service and support from SCAN, but I have been waiting over a month now for my order and I am hoping someone can chase it up.

The original order (17th May) had one pre-order item on it (LN43678 - admittedly without and ETA) but I was told on the phone that it would only be a week and opted to wait and have everything delivered together to save on transport. When nothing happened I asked again and was told another 1-2 weeks. I am pretty patient sort and said I would wait again but still haven't heard anything and have noticed that another item (LN40393) is now also listed on the main site as pre-order with no ETA.

Can you tell me whether I am now waiting for one or two items to complete the order and give me a proper date when (or if) it is likely to arrive - having waited this long I am reluctant to cancel.

Thank you for raising this - I have been told you are now expecting delivery tomorrow or Monday and that I should have everything early next week.

Hi Mick,
I hate to hassle again but its Thursday and still no sign of anything. I don't know how quickly the order history in 'My account' gets updated, but there is no indication that its been picked or despatched. I was looking to build this weekend but that is looking unlikely now.

If the stock can't be had, I'd understand, but I'd sooner be told straight so I can sort something else out - its been nearly six weeks now.
Grateful for any info.

Hi Mick,
I have just received the email and indeed they have said that they will try to dispatch tonight. Thank you very much for your help, I am looking forward to putting it together at the weekend.

As I said in my email, the measure of a good company is how they behave when things don't necessarily go to plan, so top marks for that one.
