Complaint - What the heck are DPD playing at guys ?

Right bit of a complaint, not directed at Scan but still seeing as your contract is with DPD I think you need to have a dig at them all the same.

My order was due for delivery today, I admit that when DPD came there was nobody here but even so I would have been happy to have waited for tomorrow as the case was bought ofr a non critical project I've got going on here. The DPD driver had left the standard card, thats fine I thought it will come tomorrow no hassle.

Imagine my surprised hwn I'd just returned home from a few hours out this evening to find my case in my room, at first I though oh ok DPD delivered it again this evening, but no how wrong was I.

They had delivered the sorry we missed you card all the way up to the top floor flat I live in (42B) and the moron of a DPD driver by the looks of it could not be bothered to take the case up the steps so he left it with the poor old lady in the flat downstairs who is very deaf and might I add VERY disabled and she lives in the middle flat (42), there was no way in hell she could have lifted it and just to make matters worse the package was left outside and if it wasn't for her nurse who called into us to say there was package waiting for me and could we come get it as it was just left outside her front door and it had almost started to rain ! It was then left to my flat mate who has just had a nasty op in hospital and he shouldn't really be lifting things. So he'd put the right card in the right door but was too lazy to do his job properly.

What made it worse was the driver did not, I repeat did not mark on the card he had left it with a neighbour, if you really want me to I can send you pictures to prove there was nothing marked to say where it was - very bad service from DPD and it does reflect badly on you guys aswell, I know it's not your fault but still think it's worth point out, these DPD drivers are paid to do a job and they need to know it's not their stuff they are taking liberties with - I know the delivery was free but you gotta admit this is pretty bad !

Anyway rant over, the case is in good order and none of it appears to be missing or broken - just a very small fly in an otherwise rather pleasent ointment.
