Problem with Silverstone SST-ST50F-ES Strider 500W PSU

Hiya, I recently ordered a couple of things for a new build for my brother and seem to have a problem with this PSU - it seems to be DOA.

It seems that this PSU only came wrapped in bubble-wrap - looking at your website you have two versions of this PSU listed and both appear to the same but when you click on the cheaper version it appears to be an OEM PSU.

Can you confirm that this PSU doesn't come boxed and is supposed to be packaged the way I got it??

Let me know before I raise an RMA please.

Re: Problem with Silverstone SST-ST50F-ES Strider 500W PSU

I just ordered one of these recently and I can confirm that mine also shipped in bubble wrap and the shipping instructions that it was sent with simply said something along the lines of special wrapping/packing instructions, which I'm assuming means that Scan get this as is and then bubble wrap them to keep them safe while they are in transit.

Looking at Scan's website I find it quite funny to see how the OEM version got 2 out of 3 stars while the full priced/boxed version got 3 out of 3 stars, and yet they are both the same PSU, also the OEM version doesn't mention SLI/Crossfire while the boxed version does!
