RMA (DOA) still 'Awaiting replacement'' - please can it be pushed along!

    Hi

Hard drive faulty from new, RMA given and received into Scan on Monday and confirmed faulty Monday 12:30pm. In-stock item and still awaiting despatch of replacement.

Is someone from Scan able to progress this for me, as it's now getting urgent. I'd appreciate it.

    Regards.

(RMA can be PM'd or posted here on request)

    page3,

Our current turnaround time is on average 3-5 working days, this will be processed by our RMA team as quickly as possible.

    Kind regards,

    Kind regards,
A disappointing response if I'm honest with you. Initially the RMA was processed quickly, but it seems to have been sitting 'awaiting replacement' for four days now. From a customer's perspective it really isn't clear quite why it takes so long from this point in the process. Surely the same returns engineer clicks a few buttons and a replacement order is raised - at least that's what used to happen when I worked in the industry 15 years ago!

I'm aware 3-5 working days isn't bad, but compared to the alternative of asking for a refund and placing a new order it is nevertheless disappointing.

    Regards.
