Hi guys, just wondering if someone could shed some light on my situation.
At the beginning of February I RMA'd my GPU which suddenly failed on me. It was received and verified faulty by Scan on the 10th of March, and a couple of days later the returns tracker showed 'at suppliers'. After a couple of weeks of waiting I got in touch with Scan again and was told that due to my original purchase date (December 2012) the GPU was "being sent back to suppliers for them to issue a refund or replacement". Roughly a week later, hearing nothing more, I contacted Scan once again and was told that they would again chase up the suppliers and process the RMA ASAP. I received that reply on the 7th of this month and have since heard nothing.
Surely this waiting is not normal? I have been without a computer for nearly 3 months now and am getting quite frustrated with the waiting and lack of updates. I understand the GPU may be out of Scan's hands but, as they are the retailer I dealt with, should it not be up to them to replace my item or issue a refund?
Many thanks
Jake
