OoS Components impeding order?

I ordered 4 components last week (14/10/15) and my order was delayed because the motherboard went out of stock. Fair enough, even though it was in stock when I ordered and also showing as in-stock when I received the delay email.

I've now noticed the CPU from the order is out of stock too and not showing to be in stock until the 31st.

I sent in an email and spoke to John Clarkson (15/10/15) who either missed my question, or avoided it, asking whether the initial 3 items that were in stock would be put to one side or would the order only ship if they happen to all be in stock at the same time.

It now looks as if there's going to be a 16-day delay at best between my order and earliest possible shipping date which is incredible.

Some clarification on whether or not the initial 3 items have been set aside or not with a view to shipping my order on the 22nd when the board should come back in stock would be great.

After checking on this it appears that the motherboards have not arrived as yet and we are now awaiting on further updates as to when they are going to arrive. I've asked purchasing to check to see if they can get any updates in regards to this.

I've just been through the rest of the ITX series of Z170 motherboards to see if there is any alternative we could have recommended to speed the delivery up, but they are all out of stock at the moment.

As soon as I've got any updates from the purchasing team I'll let you know in due course.

I've got updated from the purchasing team just now.

They have advised that the shipment to the suppliers was delayed by 24 hours. Suppliers have just confirmed that the stock has landed with them so we should expect the stock to arrive here at SCAN on Monday.

It appears we've received the stock this morning so you order should be dispatched later today for delivery tomorrow.

After checking into this after lunch, it has been completed and will be dispatched for delivery tomorrow.

As for the time, I couldn't say until DPD have planned the delivery route, but hopefully the traffic ain't too bad this week with the children being off school in the area, so the busway works ongoing shouldn't have too much impact
