Amd fx8350 DEAD

Hi i may have already posted this question in the wrong catergory (sorry)

My question regards possible (RMA) or how to go about it
I bought the cpu from your ebay shop on november 7th 2014

As i understand Scans warranty is 12 months but AMD's is 36 months
So the cpu failed just short of 24months
Might i add it was used standard clock

Any information would be greatly appreciated

Standard clock never used it for months , i bought this in november 2014, asrock killer 990fx board , checked with athlon x4 (pinched from htpc) fine , corsair cx750 checked fine ,only item changed on board was the gpu went from a GIGABYE HD7950 to a XFX RX480 (8GB) this wss checked in my other AMD system also fine

If anything this sat idle as i changed my mind and built the rig in my bio , then used this one occassionally , a pal wanted the hd7950 for a cheap gaming rig for his son , hence the change

At a total.loss as to why , so warranty info would be appreciated hopefully scan will get back to me

Oh and its cooled with a corsair H100i this has also been checked incasebit had failed its FINE

I could be mistaken but I think you have to go to the manufacturer after 12 months. If that's the case, I think this is the link you need: http://support.amd.com/en-us/warranty
