I recently bought a motherboard that was advertised on another site as compatible with my CPU. Turns out it required a BIOS update before it would be compatible. I had no way of doing the update so I bought a new board and returned the old one.

I was pretty careful with taking the whole thing apart, and did a check of the pins in the socket before putting the protector back in place. The RMA was rejected based on there being bent pins in the socket and a petty blurry low quality picture was uploaded.

Myself and a couple of the IT guys from my work have looked at the picture and can't see any obviously bent pins. I would like to get a better photo that clearly shows the bent pins in the socket.
