It's been a month since I started the RMA process on 3rd July and even though the motherboard was received and the fault confirmed on 10th July, Scan hasn't given any update since then, other than it would be sent back to the supplier.

I contacted Gigabyte UK and they said that as the motherboard it's barely 4 months old Scan should be able to provide a replacement or full refund.

Is there any way you could confirm what's the current situation?
