    eVga 680i Volts/Temps

Just finished my new system build (thanks Scan for the amazing case and PSU)

How hot is too hot for the NB/SB chipsets when you have the cooler on them, I'm sitting at 50-56C on start up.

Also what volts would people recommend I use to get my system stable as its been crashing after 10-15minutes in games back to desktop, and Im not sure weather I should leave them on Auto or change to a set amount for (NB/SB/CPU/FSB and any other ones in bios)

    HELP!!!

Also what tools are best to measure temps aross the motherboard (including NB/SB), I'm using TAT and I'm 39-41 on both CPU cores with it going to 50-53C on full load.

Ran both 3D mark 05/06 and got good scores in both and have my ram running at DDR 8000 at 2.2volts

    whats your spec?

Stick the fan on the NB ..mine runs at 70 without it.

anything below 70 is fine really but i dont like seeing temps that high so i use the fan.

Mines overclocked but sometimes my FSB autos to 1.2v and sometimes to 1.4v

    1.4 crashes it.

Use nvidia monitor as a quick check for your volts...Its a nice easy way of seeings whats wrong..Green good red bad etc.. lol

could be your core volts as well? Have you clocked it?.. your idle temps seem a little high for stock..although my mate runs a similar setup to me and his idles are 50% higher than mine. TAT and nvidia monitor as well as the bios heath status will be good enough to test your temps btw.

No standarded, though 40C in core temp was good, would clock till it reached around 60-65 full load though.

Motherboard CD you say, not even sure I got a CD! just found it and will try

Ok just loaded the Nvidia monitor thing.

All green apart from Memery (2.2volts, which my ram requires)
    FSB(yellow)1.3volts
    HT(SPPP-mcp) (Red) 1.4500
    PCI-E 1.5V

    All others are green
