Quick query about delivery

Hi, just a quick question. I have something being sent out and the estimated delivery date was the 7th March. I got an e-mail saying my delivery was due to be dispatched (stage 3) on the 7th. However it is now the 9th and I've heard nothing more about it. I was just wondering if I could get a little clarification as to what's happening?
