Asus P5B -VM sound problems

Back panel mic is not working. (Back headphones working though)
Front panel mic and headphones not working.

Double checked build, installed latest audio drivers.
Checked all things were enabled in bios. (Not flashed to the latest bios as it only addresses Vista issues)

Anything else I can try before returning it? (Sound is pretty important to me as we use VOIP alot).
