Digital TV Card Vista Media Center Compatible?

    Hi guys,

I am looking to get a digital tv card or usb for my pc so that I can use it as a tv in my bedroom. Could you recommend a card which will be compatible with vista as well as media center?

    Thanks in advance.

Looks like all the Hauppauge cards have vista drivers in the latest driver pack on their website.

The nova-t is the one I am looking into for my MythTV Linux media centre. From reading reviews it also is easy to install on Vista and WMC (easyer on linux though as you don't need to install it )

One proplem is if you use it on microsoft windoes you will need a WMC remote, and the Hauppauge remote is not compatible but the great news is the card is at such a great price

    Thanks,

I'm using the Nova-T 500MCE card with both MCE2005 and Vista without any issues.

I'm using the microsoft hardware kit for the remote and this works fine

Compro cards seem to be all compatible. I've got 4 of their products and they are all good.

I have the T300 in my current PC, and it works perfectly with Vista Media Center. The other cards I can't comment on, as they don't run any version of media center.

It's a shame VMC isn't as good as Media Center 2005 (for series recording that is). Hopefully it will improve (supposedly a new version coming with Vista SP1)

It's the same with all components isn't it, someone somewhere rubbishes everything. I've used this card in a few MCE XP builds without problem.
