Please can you confirm the size of the heatsink on this card

    Scan code LN15678
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=466649

Gigabyte 7600GS passize with "HDTV" out.

    1) wrt the passive heatsink - does it wrap around to the back of the card? I have very limited space in my case at the back of the AGP slot (riser in the silverstone LC11 case) Also would it take up the neighbouring PCI slot? Hard to tell from the product photos on the web!

    2) is the "HDTV" out HDMI and does it have HDCP?

    Cheers!

I think it's the same one as this card (certainly looks the same), if it is, then pic 4 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814125039 ) shows that the h/sink is on one side only.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks! A better pic indeed - if someone from scan could confirm this is the same as the card they have that'd be nice (google image search confused me a bit with several different pics including some with rather chunkier passive sinks)

Now can I justify it as a temporary card before this machine becomes an htpc full-time or do I get a cheapo 6200?
