Order delay... now prices drop kinda unfair.

I ordered a pc for my friend earlier this week, spending around £1000. Within this order was a q6600 and a scan 8800gtx. It was due to arrive on friday which is fair enough, i had accepted that it would take around half a week for delivery.

However on friday my order was further delayed and now wont arrive till monday. Then on the friday deal of the day the q6600 and the scan 8800gtx are available much cheaper than what i payed.

Considering that if i had ordered on friday i would have recieved everything at virtually the same time but have been paying much less.

I payed £489.82 inc vat for a q6600 and the 8800gtx

And at the moment they are available on deal of the day for £466.47 inc vat. Is there any chance i could get the difference refunded because of this delay in my order and the price drop at the time....?

Your complaining about £22 after spending £1000? just cancel your order and re-order with the new prices.

Normally you could PM one of the sales folks and ask if they'll match the today only price, but with it being the weekend you might not have any joy.

I'm thinking the folks at Scan are probably letting their hair down. Everyone deserves a break!

Things like this make me laff, my last new car i bought dropped in price before i even received it, did i get any difference back, did I hell.

I had same situation before when they did not cancel my order in time because of 'internal delay' and refuse to refund the difference.

At least you still have the chance to re-order it
