Colour cast with 22 CIBOX TFT

I have raised a question with Scan but wondered if there are any suggestions.
Using the DVI input there is a yellow/cream cast and despite what it says in the manual there is no white balance adjust available.
I tried altering the colour temperature from the default, which is warm, to cold which helped a bit but it is still there.
Does this sound like a faulty monitor or am I missing something. The odd thing is that it is claimed to have an advanced colour function which I can't find.
Just done a lot more checks and the other functions are there when using the Dsub input but I still can't get rid of the colour cast. Checked my computer/cabling with am Iiyama monitor and that is fine so it looks as though it may be duff. Will wait for Scan to respond.

every since i dl the latest forceware for my nV 6800, i must have messed up some setting somehow and pretty much since then my monitor produced some odd colours and was kind of fuzzy. i sort of managed to sort it out but manually setting forceware. therefore jus try and check theres nothing wrong with your gfx card or gfx software/ drivers

I have raised the question with Scan but it looks as though the problem is with the default settings of the monitor.
I connected an Iiyama LCD monitor without changing anything and the picture was perfect which ruled out my computer and cables. So after a lot of messing about with colour balance and getting nowhere I used the ATI Catalyst controls to change the brightness and contrast from the monitor default. The new figures are Brightness at -48 instead of 0 and Contrast at 60 instead of 100.
It now looks reasonable - in fact quite good - so I will wait for the response from Scan
