Hi, I had problems with my motherboard (ASRock 945G DVI) not posting about a month or 2 ago. Sent all the parts back to SCAN (i.e. CPU, MB, RAM, PSU, GPU). All components were given the all clear except for the motherboard because it was burnt around the pci slot area. Ok So the testing was done on 14/06/2007 and till now I'm still waiting for the motherboard because it had to be sent back to the manufacturer because scan could not replace it due to the burn marks. Given that it is still under warranty, am I wrong in expecting the manufacturer to replace it???
Another thing is does it normally take this long for a replacement? I'm getting so impatient that I'll soon buy another motherboard because Im slowly losing hope in the whole RMA process. Its just been one bad experience for me... Well SCAN did say the board was sent on 08/07/07, however I was surprised to receive an email on 23/07/07 asking for the return of a signed disclaimer form so the board could be sent to the manufacturer. The disclaimer form was signed and returned (via email to MarkR) on the 22nd of June 2007. So I'm now thinking, Was the board ever sent back???
*Sigh*
Oh well I just thought I needed to release some steam... any suggestions are welcome.
