Scan 3XS system with P35 motherboard

Hi all,

First post having been an avid reader/lurcker for a long time.

I have ordered some components from Scan in the past but i am looking at buying a 3XS system and have a query.

From the Scan website the 3xs system are currrently limited to motherboards with either 650i, 680i or 975x chipsets. I would ideally like to have a 3xs system built around the gigabyte P35C DS3R motherboard as i like the option of being able to change to DDR3 memory in the future.

I would be looking at either the 6850 or Q6600 cpu's with an 8800gtx.

Is this feasible and is the best way to contact scan customer support prior to ordering.

Welcome Keith!

I bought a 3XS System from Scan 1-2 months ago. I basically picked the spec I wanted, motherboard included and they built it perfectly. I see no reason why the same shouldn't apply to you.
