DFI P35/X38 release dates... ?

As per title really, anyone know when the release dates for the two above boards?

The DFI P35 LanParty is already released.

Apparently production X38 chipsets are now shipping to Tier One manufacturers which would put availability of mobos from them ~mid-September.
As for when DFI get a chipset supply

afaik only a small no. of LANparty UT P35-T2R have made it to Europe so far (it's only just released) & they seem to have motly been in Germany.
There's also an Infinity version coming.

UK always seem to be last when it comes to aquiring DFI boards through the distribution system, on another negative note they dont do themselves any favors releasing motherboards months after the competition, if anyones going to go for another board having already owning a P35 board the logical path would be X-38.

This is only a guess but I reckon another 2-3 weeks probally, judging from the length of time the DFI Dark Infinity was available in the UK - I hope I'm wrong for the sake of the DFI fans.

Well I phoned up seeing as no one from scan was reading...

'I don't know if it's something we will be stocking until it's advertised on our website' was the response. Good to know! said person wasn't able to find out for me either. You wouldn't have thought it would be that hard - infact I bet Scan already has an order for the bloody boards anyway!

I'll ring around some other computer shops and see if they can help....

had this in an email from DFI the other day

LP UT P35-T2R will be available in UK market on about the first week of Sept.

Please contact our distributors or their dealers by the week of 37th.

hope scan can be one of the first with stock (pretty please with a cherry on top)

Hi, I found one of these boards for sale, it's in Italy though, & they're asking for about £200 for it. That's with delivery added. Hope they're cheaper when available in the U.K.

Any chance Scan can get the LT - non transpiper version in stock??
No where in the UK has this version in stock & only 1 places has the UT version in stock.

Any idea on the X38 version of the LT. i dont need UT features specifically but LT seems just about right.
