    Which wireless card to get?

    hi,
I currently own a Linksys wireless-g access point 802.11g and model WAP54G i need a compatible wireless usb adapter/wireless capable of maintaining good speeds for gaming and downloading. It also needs to be able to connect from a fair distance ( router downstairs computer upstairs). It would be preferred if the price could be lower than £20. I am using windows vista home premium 32bit so a card that is compatible would be good.
    Any help is much appreciated

Re: Which wireless card to get?

I have had the Linksys(now Cisco) Wusb54gs wireless card for the last year or so and it is really good. I have not used it for gaming but when I do download large files( like demos for instance) I regularly get quite decent download speeds.

Windows Business Edition 32 bit automatically recognised the card too!!

I assume that your access point does not have the SpeedBooster function so the Wusb54g will do.

Unfortunately Scan does not seem to do any Linksys products and non of Cisco rebranded Linksys products either!!

    BTW I pm'd you.
