Software Included with DVD writer

According to the Scan website this Samsung DVD Writer includes software.

Manufacturer code SH-S203/BEBN
A review of this item says that it comes with Nero7
Can you advise if this is correct.

The product listing does state that it is OEM inc. Nero. It doesn't say which version, but 7 has been out so long now, that it is likely to be 7.

Even if it is, it doesn't mean that it will be a complete version that is bundled with the drive, it may be 'lite', it may also be tied to that make/model drive (I found this with a previous ver). It will, however, be up to the job. If it does't do what you require you have the option to upgrade to the bells 'n whistles release (or to try a freeware burner, like FinalBurner ((I use this)) from http://www.protectedsoft.com/products.php ).

It definately comes with 7, lite I think, or at least some reduced version.

thanks for all the responses - now the only thing holding back my nice new build is the Nvidia 8800GT which is supposed to be due out at end of this month.
Will wait for official release before starting a new thread asking when it will arrive
