    Wrapping?!?!

I ordered and recieved my new sharkoon mousmat that I bought on a whim. It arrived fine, and I am happy with it but......
The amount of wrapping on it was unbelievable!! It was rolled in about 4 layers of bubble wrap, whic in turn was rolled up in a massive plastic wrapper! And the funny part was the case for the mousemat was cracked!
I've ordered 2 things from scan now (zalman 9700 and the sharkoon mat), and am very happy with the service

  2. Received thanks from:

    Re: Wrapping?!?!

Always amuses just how much wrapping Scan uses, once had a HDD arrive with bubble wrap weighing more than the contents!

Still, given the way carriers tend to throw stuff around, better safe than sorry

    Re: Wrapping?!?!

I'm pleased to hear this. I was gob smacked when a competitor I have used sent me two hard drives on separate occasions inside a jiffy bag which was dumped inside a small box.

    Re: Wrapping?!?!

Yep always better to be overwrapped than underwrapped, things can get somehow a bit squashed in those CL vans
