    a suggestion

    no one can refute that scan's order system (no live stock) causes problems

    I have got in the habit of trawling through my orders after a day or so to check that nothing has gone out of stock
    my suggestion is this

    when you log in and go to the invoice

    it does not show if an item is out of stock, could the code not be changed to show stock status on the invoice page so the customer would instantly know there is going to be a problem and they can then substitute the offending item/s

    Just a thought

    The My Account section shows order's, which have been completed.. We send automated updates for outstanding orders to update you.

    my account shows the order before they are picked , many a time I have expedited an order by ringing up to change an item that has gone out of stock after I have ordered it

    if the customer could look at the "my account" page and instantly see that an item is out of stock they could change that item and have there order on its way. At the moment if you wait for scan to contact you it could be days.

    I am not knocking scan I use them all the time just saying there is a problem and this change would help

    2) If I didn't spend time to search around to find Scan no longer stock my item, how the hell would I have known this order won't be delivered. Don't you send out warning emails saying item xxx is not in stock? The invoice page is next to useless on this
